About Critical Kindness

About me

My name is Aryan Agar, and I am a junior at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia. I am an aspiring future physician and the founder of Critical Kindness. As the founder, I am dedicated to uplifting the spirits of ICU patients and their families during challenging times. My journey started as a volunteer at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital's ICU since June 2023. Through my weekly shifts, I realized that patients' morale seems down overall, inspiring me to create Critical Kindness. Due to this, I felt motivated to do something to help in my own capacity while working with hospital staff to make sure whatever I do respects medical guidance. My mission is to spread acts of compassion and support by providing carefully curated care kits that offer comfort and essential items. At Critical Kindness, we prioritize kindness and empathy in our efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and their loved ones.

Each care kit at Critical Kindness is meticulously prepared to bring moments of hope and warmth to ICU patients in their time of vulnerability. Every item included is thoughtfully selected to provide practical assistance and emotional support, aiming to create a sense of positivity and comfort amidst difficult circumstances. Critical Kindness aims to make a meaningful difference by spreading kindness and empathy to those in need.
